Deposit & Cancellation Policy

St. Mary’s Sewanee-Sponsored Programs and Retreats:

A $100 non-transferable deposit is required to confirm your registration for an event. The deposit may be fully refunded if the reservation is canceled within three (3) days of booking; the deposit is nonrefundable after after three (3) days. The final balance is due seven (7) days prior to arrival. The credit card on file will automatically be charged the balance unless other payment arrangements have been made.

There are no refunds within seven (7) days of the program/retreat and payments are non-transferable.

If you are registering online, payment in full is required at the time of registration. If you prefer to only make the $100 deposit, please register by calling us at 931-598-5342.

Individual and Personal Retreats:

A $50 non-transferable deposit per room is required. The deposit may be fully refunded if the reservation is canceled within three (3) days of booking; the deposit is nonrefundable after three days. The remaining balance is due at check-in.

Group Retreats:

A $500 non-refundable, non-transferable Administrative Fee and signed contract are due within thirty (30) days after the contract has been issued. If the Administration Fee signed contract is not received within contract issuance, St. Mary’s Sewanee reserves the right to cancel your booking. A valid credit card must be on file with the initial contract, even if your accommodations are paid for by cash or check.

A valid credit card is required with the signed contract. The card will not be charged without permission unless the reservation is canceled as stated in the signed contract. Subsequent deposits and/or balances may be paid with a credit card or check.

A $50 per room deposit and a $10 per person meal deposit are due no later than twelve (12) months, or as stated in the contract, before the retreat arrival date. The balance is due twenty-one (21) days in advance of your arrival date. The final payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the retreat balance is not paid twenty-one (21) days before your arrival date, the credit card on file will be charged the balance of the retreat.

Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee according to as stated in the contract terms and conditions.
